Two-Step Verification

disney hub forgot passwordIn this digital age, we use online websites for completing our various daily activities and hence we will be signing up with many websites. But the main issues with many is that they use the same password for all the websites and if their password is compromised in one website, then it is easy to access all your accounts online.

Even though Disney servers have never been compromised, it better to be safe than sorry. Hence, Disney has introduced an added layer of security to the login page, a two-step verification process that ensures that only you are logging into your account.

Yes, in the two-step verification process, you need to verify yourself for a couple of times, once with your existing password and the next one with the one-time code that will be sent to your mobile phone or email address. In order to enable the 2-step verification process, you need to login to your account using your username and password, go to the accounts section and click the two-step verification link. In the verification settings page, you will be provided with options on whether to verify code using an app or email confirmation.

  • Verify Code using a mobile app
  • Verify Code using Email Confirmation

If you choose code via an app, you need to download the app on your phone and every time you log in you will be presented with a two-step verification to confirm whether you are logging into your account. First, you need to enter your username and password and then a unique 6-digit code will be sent to your mobile phone and upon entering the code correctly, you will be allowed to log in to the Disney Hub. You can also enable both methods for added flexibility.

If you choose email confirmation, a unique code will be sent to your registered email address and you can use that code to sign into your Disney Hub Account.

30 Days Trust Login

Disney also understands that using the two-step verification may be time-consuming and hence provides an option for users to login without 2-step verification process, by opting to trust the device they will be using for 30 days. After the 30 days are over, they need to again go with the 2-step verification process Overall, this is a good move by Walt Disney to ensure the safety of their employee’s accounts.
